Privacy Policy

VendBazar is run by Webskode (“we”, “us”). It helps shops (salons, retailers and other businesses) run their business: the VendBazar vendor app, the vendor portal at admin.vendbazar.com and the shop pages at shop.vendbazar.com. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you add them, your shop's phone number and address.
- Shop information you enter: products, prices, stock, services, appointments, bills, payments recorded, staff and settings.
- Your customers' information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, visit history and notes that you or your staff enter, or that customers give when they book or order on your shop page. You decide what is entered; we hold it on your behalf to provide the service.
- Photos and files you choose: product photos, your logo and spreadsheets you import. The app uses your camera only when you scan a barcode or take a photo, and your photo library or files only when you pick something.
- Subscription and billing: your plan, and the payment references (such as a UPI transaction reference) you give us. We don't receive or store card numbers.
- Technical information: our servers record requests (for example time, IP address and errors) to keep the service secure and working. The app does not use advertising or analytics tracking and does not collect your location.
How we use it
- To provide the service: sign-in, your shop's records, your shop page, bookings and orders.
- To send emails you need, such as sign-in and password links, booking notifications and billing messages.
- To manage your subscription and check payments.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To answer you when you contact us.
We don't sell personal information and don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run the service for us under contract, such as Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and email). They may process data only to provide their service to us.
- Your customers: what you publish on your shop page (shop name, address, services, products and prices) is public.
- Payment providers you choose to pay with (for example a UPI app or a payment page) receive what they need to process that payment, under their own policies.
- Authorities when the law requires it.
Security and storage
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers with access limited to people who need it. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and shop records while your account is open. When an account is deleted, its personal data and shop records are deleted or anonymised, except what we must keep by law (for example billing records), which we keep only as long as required.
Your choices and rights
- You can see and change your account details in the app and portal, including your email address.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, for corrections, or for your account and data to be deleted: see how to delete your account, or email info@webskode.com.
- Your customers can ask you, or us, to access or delete their information.
Children
VendBazar is a business tool and isn't meant for children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
